To commission and develop a diverse range of writers, articulating and representing both working-class and marginalised voices in Northern Ireland.
To promote excellence by producing new social, political and cultural plays; working with the best theatre professionals available.
To attract new participants and develop new audiences for theatre from both working-class and marginalised communities.
To develop new sustainable community-led engagement programmes, designed to create a community theatre infrastructure across the greater Belfast area.
To develop the core infrastructure of the company through good governance, proper resourcing and excellent procedures and systems.
To develop local, national and international partnerships.

Since all theatre starts with the writer, we aim to commission writers from working-class and other marginalised communities, ensuring that we produce plays that are relevant to working-class and other marginalised communities, and implement associated Community Engagement programmes, such as Community Residencies, at the heart of working-class and other marginalised communities.
